It's just two guys who are best friends. Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun. They're really cool because they like rap and sing and play drums with a piano or ukulele all in the same song. It's awesome.
That crowd wasn't even all of the PEOPLE THERE |
I saw them last year for the first time at the Grog Shop and it was a fantastic show (minus the fact I ran into my ex bf, ew)
Everyone was so excited and signing along to every song and I went with my bebes Nick Reinmann and Tyler Butts and the whole crowd was all so happy. Like the ideal show.
And this man and his son were behind us and we were talking to them and they drove from Columbus to see them. They said they've seen them play like a thousand times and that they went to the same church. I thought that was pretty cool.
So last Friday, I road tripped with my best friends down to Colombus to go to their sold out hometown show. It was Nick, Tyler, Jacob, Matt Miller and I all in one car and Mackenzie Marron and Emily Grosjean met us there.
I think this was during the first song |
Once I got out of the pit thing I stood on the stairs by myself and I was the only person around that was singing. Tyler even gave a speech about suicide that made me cry and no one around me was even phased by it. And their families were at the show too on the balcony and every time I looked up at Tyler's mom she looked really pissed. If I was here, I'd be crying forever because her kid was doing what he loved for like 8498350345 people. And even her other son went on stage and did his part of Kitchen Sink (they never EVER perform that song. It was exciting)
It was really weird like you'd think more people would be into it and stuff. I don't really know.
But I'm really excited because on the 15th they're coming back to the Grog and I'll be there with everyone mentioned earlier (':
I love those people. And going to shows. I literally could not tell you how many concerts I've been to. Definition of happiness.
I enjoy this song. And this one too. And this one is my favorite. <3 <3 <3
